On the way to the castro (Iron Age settlement) and located in the area of the adjective constructions, you will find the chariot room. More than 300 m² of exhibition space contains the material culture, customs, and images related to the cart and its work.
“His song filled the paths he travelled, pulled by a yoke”
The Galician cart was once the most valued means of transport and tool of the peasantry in Galicia. Its song would fill the paths that it travelled along, pulled by a herd of cattle, usually cows, in search of fields and hills to fill it with grass, firewood and even gorse, or to fill it with manure for the next harvest.
